Z. Davis Interiors, LTD is a design firm dedicated to the expression of ideas through Architecture and Interior Design. The firm’s interest in an investigative architectural process makes the approach to each project unique and specific with regard to the client, site and building type. The firm’s professional experience encompasses a wide range of design and production of residential, retail, hospitality, civic and corporate projects throughout the United States and abroad. Ms. Davis and Ms. Valente became partners after a long friendship and genuine respect for each other’s work. In order to provide a full design service they combined their expertise to execute high quality projects to clients demanding original, personalized and carefully detailed design solutions.

Satisfying the client throughout the design process is a foremost concern of ZdI. The firm will strive to uncover, understand and address the needs of the client.

Z. Davis Interiors, LTD seeks the client’s full understanding of the design and building process. The firm is extremely respectful of financial constraints, implementing innovative design solutions to bridge the gap between budget and project.

Ms. Davis after graduating with a Masters degree in Fine Arts established Z. Davis Interiors Ltd, in 1991. The interior design firm serviced the residential and commercial markets. Her portfolio represents a wide range of styles with a continuous focus of staying true to the integrity of each project. Her commercial projects include but not limited to; the US headquarters of Davidoff of Geneva, the executive offices of Christie’s Auction House, an industry advisor for Price Water House, the redesign and restoration of Gramercy Park lobby, along with the design of several retail stores in New York City.

Ms. Davis is proud of the close relationships with her clients in the US and abroad. Clients stay loyal because of the close bond that develops and mutual trust while working together. Here genuine relationship with her clients enabled Ms. Davis to be called upon designing not only primary residences but also providing design services to the country house, as well as, third and fourth homes nationally and internationally.

Through international travel with her husband and great fondness for golf, she developed an expertise to the sacred environment where golfers gather. Traveling among the great names and personalities in the golf world, she has since been a consultant to golf club developments in United States.

Along with her success as an Interior Designer she makes time participating in various organizations. She is a former member of the Greenwich Junior League, she Chaired the Renaissance Ball for the benefit of the Bruce Museum, as well as, Fundraising for several International Children Charities. Her most recent community outreach was Women-in-Design, where she committed her time to becoming a mentor to underprivileged youth in Harlem.


Monica Valente

Ms. Valente holds an undergraduate degree in Architecture and Cultural Studies from Pratt Institute. She is currently obtaining a Master’s in International Development in New York City where she has expanded her expertise within the international realm of architecture and design.

She has both studied and worked abroad on various architectural research projects in Rome, Macchu Picchu, and Mallorca. Her several years of experience have been with world renown architecture firms such as Perkins Eastman Architects and Pelli Clarke Pelli, as well as, Arcadia Associates, Partners for Architecture, Vigneau and Associates and Form Design Studio. Aside from her years of work in architecture and interior design, she spends her free time volunteering in organizations such as Habitat for Humanity and Earthwatch.

Ms. Valente recently launched Women-in-Design, a pilot program at Stanley Isaacs Youth Development Center in New York City. Women-in-Design is a four-week program geared towards female youth age 13 thru 17 who are struggling in mainstream education or having difficulties finding a career path. The workshop brought together women holding executive positions in the design industry with underprivileged female youth to promote and foster career paths.
